Take one to two grams of powder of chamomile flowers with warm water to treat stomach cramps caused by flatulence or dyspepsia. Chamomile essential oil is equally beneficial for such disorder. Dissolve 2-3 drops of chamomile oil in half a glass of water and drink it to relieve stomach pain.

Mint

Stomach pain caused by over eating and gas formation can be treated with mint. Mint contains menthol and is an antispasmodic herb. It can be taken in various forms.

Herbal Remedies For Stomach Pain

Mix two tea spoons mint juice with one tea spoon lemon juice and dilute it in half glass water. Drink it immediately after meals to aid digestion and to treat stomach pain. Mint capsules are available in the market; you can take them according to prescription for stomach pain.

Coriander

Coriander is highly beneficial for treating stomach ailments including stomach pain that is caused due to flatulence and acidity. Grind dry coriander seeds, green chillies, ginger, black grapes and grated coconut to a fine paste. Add salt to taste and eat one tea spoon of chutney with your meals to relieve stomach pain.

Bishop’s Weed

Bishop’ weeds or Ajwain as it is commonly known is an extremely effective herbal remedy for stomach pain. Roll ½ tea spoon of Ajwain seeds in a betel leaf and chew it after meals to aid digestion and to treat stomach pain.

Eat 1 tea spoon Ajwain seeds with a pinch of rock salt and gulp it down with warm water to relieve stomach pain caused by flatulence and dyspepsia.

Saffron

Saffron is helpful in treating digestive disorders, thus it is a beneficial herb for treating stomach pain caused by flatulence and indigestion. Take a pinch of saffron with warm water after meals.

Cumin Seeds

Cumin seeds strengthen the function of stomach and are very useful in treating problems related to digestive system. It prevents gas formation, relieves stomach pain and flatulence.

Boil one tea spoon cumin seeds in a glass of water, strain it and add one tea spoon fresh coriander juice and a pinch of rock salt. Drink this decoction two times a day after meals to treat stomach pain.

Bloodwort

Bloodwort is a useful herb for treating stomach pain caused due to flatulence and colic. Make a decoction with 10 grams of Bloodwort leaves and water and drink it twice a day to treat stomach pain.

    I know this may sound even wierder than anything some of you have tried
    but my grandma taught me to put a tea spoon of baking soda in water and
    drink it it works wonders even works for headaches…. taste is
    definately aquired healthy living
